Themed Cocktail
The Tangiers Comp
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz cognac
- 0.5 oz Benedictine
- 0.5 oz blood orange juice
- 0.25 oz demerara syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 tsp Amaro Averna
- Orange twist for garnish
Instructions:
- 1Combine cognac, Benedictine, blood orange juice, demerara syrup, bitters, and Amaro in a mixing glass with ice.
- 2Stir for 30 seconds until well chilled.
- 3Strain into a chilled rocks glass over a large ice cube.
- 4Express an orange twist over the surface and rest it on the rim.
