Every wedding is an open bar — drink like John and Jeremy at a Cleary reception.
The Rules
- Sip — John Beckwith or Jeremy Grey recite a 'rule' from the Wedding Crashers code
- Sip — Chazz Reinhold appears on screen in his mother's basement
- Sip — Sack Lodge shoots Jeremy a murderous glare from across a room
- Sip — Claire Cleary catches John in a small lie and almost lets it slide
- Sip — Gloria ties Jeremy to the bed and he cannot escape with dignity intact
- Drink Twice — Secretary Cleary launches into a political monologue at the dinner table
- Drink Twice — John admits to Jeremy that Claire is different from every other woman
- Drink Twice — Jeremy gets a new injury courtesy of Sack or an angry family member
- Shot — John confesses to Claire that he is a Wedding Crasher at the family home
- Shot — Chazz gives his magnum opus 'grief' speech at the funeral
- Chug — John crashes Claire's wedding to Sack and delivers his real speech
Themed Cocktail
Rule #76 Punch
Ingredients:
- 2 oz tequila blanco
- 1 oz triple sec
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz simple syrup
- 2 oz champagne
- 1 tsp grenadine
Instructions:
- 1Combine tequila, triple sec, lemon juice, and syrup in a shaker with ice.
- 2Shake vigorously for 15 seconds and strain into a champagne flute.
- 3Top carefully with champagne.
- 4Add a slow pour of grenadine down the side to create a red bottom layer.
- 5Garnish with a fresh rose petal and a lemon twist.
