- Sip — Gandalf smokes his pipe and blows a smoke ring in any direction
- Sip — The dwarves sing the 'Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold' song at Bag End or on the road
- Sip — Thorin Oakenshield delivers a proud, sorrowful speech about Erebor and the Lonely Mountain
- Sip — Radagast the Brown appears on his rabbit sleigh or discovers something wrong in Mirkwood
- Drink Twice — The trolls William, Bert, and Tom argue about how to cook the dwarves at the fire
- Drink Twice — Azog the Defiler appears on his white warg and hunts Thorin's company
- Drink Twice — The stone giants fight each other in the Misty Mountains storm
- Shot — Bilbo finds the One Ring on the cave floor in the dark after Gollum drops it
- Shot — Bilbo saves Thorin from Azog by tackling the warg — the act that earns the dwarf's respect
- Chug — Gollum's riddle game ends — 'What do I have in my pocket?' — Bilbo escapes the mountain

Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz aged rum
- 0.75 oz apple cider
- 0.5 oz cinnamon syrup
- 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 oz hard apple cider float
Instructions:
- 1Combine rum, apple cider, cinnamon syrup, lemon juice, and bitters in a shaker with ice.
- 2Shake for 12 seconds and strain into a large mug or rustic ceramic glass over fresh ice.
- 3Float hard apple cider over the back of a spoon.
- 4Garnish with a cinnamon stick, a dried apple ring, and a drizzle of honey over the top.
