Star Wars: The Force Awakens Drinking Game + Cocktail
Jakku scavenger, BB-8, and the past coming back — drink to the new generation taking the torch.
The Rules
- Sip — BB-8 tilts its head and gives a chirped response to a human emotional statement
- Sip — Rey scavenges something from a crashed Star Destroyer on Jakku's sand
- Sip — Finn grabs Rey's hand to run and she immediately pulls away
- Sip — Han Solo says 'I've got a bad feeling about this' or looks like he might
- Sip — Kylo Ren throws a Force tantrum and slashes something with his crossguard lightsaber
- Drink Twice — The Starkiller Base charges and fires its beam through hyperspace
- Drink Twice — Maz Kanata gives wisdom in her cantina and references the Force without being a Jedi
- Drink Twice — Poe Dameron smirks and pulls a move outrageous in his X-Wing
- Shot — Han Solo steps onto the bridge to reach his son Kylo Ren — the bridge extends
- Shot — Kylo Ren ignites his saber through Han Solo's chest and Han touches his face
- Chug — Rey finds Luke Skywalker on Ahch-To and holds out his lightsaber — he just stares
Themed Cocktail
The Jakku Scavenger
Ingredients:
- 2 oz mezcal
- 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz agave nectar
- 0.5 oz mango syrup
- 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
- 1 tsp desert sand salt (smoked salt for rim)
Instructions:
- 1Rim a rocks glass with smoked sea salt to represent Jakku's dust
- 2Combine mezcal, lime juice, agave nectar, mango syrup, and bitters in a shaker with ice
- 3Shake hard for 15 seconds
- 4Strain over fresh ice in the prepared glass
- 5Garnish with a mango wheel and a sprig of dried herbs to mimic the desert wasteland
