The Rules
- Sip — Angela Vidal speaks directly into the camera to address the viewing audience
- Sip — Pablo the cameraman is told to 'keep filming no matter what'
- Sip — a firefighter, police officer, or resident becomes infected and attacks
- Sip — the apartment building's intercom or door buzzer is used in a tense scene
- Sip — health officials in hazmat suits appear at the building entrance blocking exit
- Drink Twice — the night-vision camera function is activated for a dark corridor scene
- Drink Twice — a character is tackled and bitten by an infected resident on a stairwell
- Drink Twice — Angela is told by officials that the building is under quarantine
- Shot — the dog is found foaming at the mouth and bites an elderly woman on the face
- Shot — the little girl Medeiros appears in the penthouse attic in the night-vision shot
- Chug — Angela is dragged screaming into complete darkness in the final night-vision sequence
Themed Cocktail
Angela's Night Vision
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz mezcal
- 0.75 oz green Chartreuse
- 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz honey syrup
- 1 oz sparkling water
- 1 tsp matcha powder (dissolved in 0.5 oz warm water, cooled)
Instructions:
- 1Combine mezcal, green Chartreuse, lime juice, honey syrup, and matcha liquid in a shaker with ice.
- 2Shake vigorously for 12 seconds and strain into a tall glass over fresh ice.
- 3Top with sparkling water and stir once gently.
- 4Garnish with a lime wheel and serve with a green paper straw for the night-vision effect.
