  • Sip — A new historical cover-up involving John Wilkes Booth or the Confederate South is revealed
  • Sip — Ben Gates infiltrates a high-security landmark — Buckingham Palace, Mount Vernon, or the Oval Office
  • Drink Twice — Mitch Wilkinson threatens to expose the Gates family legacy publicly at a conference
  • Drink Twice — Ben Gates actually kidnaps the sitting President of the United States
  • Drink Twice — The City of Gold — Cíbola — is shown in its full underground chamber glory

Themed Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz bourbon
  • 0.5 oz Amaro Montenegro
  • 0.75 oz fresh orange juice
  • 0.5 oz honey syrup
  • 3 dashes Peychaud's bitters
  • 0.25 oz maraschino liqueur

Instructions:

  1. 1Combine bourbon, Amaro, orange juice, honey syrup, and bitters in a shaker with ice.
  2. 2Shake vigorously for 12 seconds and double-strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  3. 3Float maraschino liqueur over the back of a spoon to create a secret layer at the surface.
  4. 4Garnish with an orange half-wheel and a small rolled scroll of paper tied with a gold ribbon balanced on the rim.
