The sun never sets, the folk rituals never stop, and neither does this game.
The Rules
- Sip — the group ingests hallucinogenic tea, mushrooms, or a ritual substance on screen
- Sip — Dani Ardor hyperventilates or cries while others visibly fail to comfort her
- Sip — a Hårga elder performs or explains a ritual ceremony with dead seriousness
- Sip — the Hårga commune members mirror a character's emotional expression in unison
- Sip — Mark disrespects Hårga customs in an embarrassing or offensive way
- Drink Twice — Pelle smiles knowingly while bad things happen to the outsiders
- Drink Twice — the Ättestupa cliff ceremony is shown or referenced by a Hårga elder
- Drink Twice — Christian Hughes is passively dishonest or selfishly dismissive of Dani
- Shot — an elder jumps from the Ättestupa cliff during the midsommar ceremony
- Shot — Dani is crowned May Queen and carried through the flower-covered commune
- Chug — the burning temple ritual begins with Christian sewn inside the bear's corpse
Themed Cocktail
The May Queen's Crown
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz aquavit
- 0.75 oz elderflower liqueur
- 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz honey syrup
- 1 oz dry sparkling wine
- 1 edible flower (garnish)
Instructions:
- 1Combine aquavit, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, and honey syrup in a shaker with ice.
- 2Shake for 12 seconds and strain into a chilled stemmed coupe glass.
- 3Top slowly with dry sparkling wine to preserve the bubbles.
- 4Float an edible flower on the surface as garnish — no other garnish needed.
