The Rules
- Sip — Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett swap identities to keep the witness convinced
- Sip — Marcus Burnett complains about his marriage or expresses stress about his home life
- Sip — Mike Lowrey references or shows off his Ferrari or expensive personal possessions
- Sip — Fouchet or his crew moves or secures the stolen heroin from the police vault
- Sip — Julie Mott confuses or is deceived by the identity-swap between Mike and Marcus
- Drink Twice — Marcus calls Mike's apartment a better witness protection spot than his own home
- Drink Twice — Fouchet executes a witness or underling without hesitation
- Drink Twice — Internal Affairs pressures the detectives to close the drug heist case quickly
- Shot — Fouchet is shot and killed at the airport during the climactic chase and standoff
- Shot — Mike and Marcus are exposed mid-swap when their families show up at the safe house
- Chug — The final airplane hangar shootout erupts with maximum action choreography and explosions
Themed Cocktail
The Miami Lowrey
Ingredients:
- 2 oz blanco tequila
- 1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
- 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz agave nectar
- 3 dashes habanero bitters
- 1 tsp coarse sea salt for rim
Instructions:
- 1Rim a rocks glass with coarse sea salt using a lime wedge.
- 2Combine tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, agave nectar, and habanero bitters in a shaker with ice.
- 3Shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
- 4Strain into the prepared rocks glass over a large ice cube.
- 5Garnish with a grapefruit wedge pressed onto the salted rim.
