Themed Cocktail

The Wheelsy Slug

Ingredients:

2 oz dark rum
0.75 oz black cherry liqueur
0.5 oz fresh lime juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
3 dashes Peychaud's bitters
1 tsp activated charcoal (for color)

Instructions:

1Stir activated charcoal into simple syrup until dissolved to make charcoal syrup
2Combine dark rum, black cherry liqueur, lime juice, and charcoal syrup in a shaker with ice
3Add Peychaud's bitters and shake for 12 seconds
4Strain into a chilled coupe glass
5Garnish with a dark cherry submerged at the bottom of the glass to mimic the slug
