The Rules
- Sip — Professor Oldman's withered hand is used as a sight gag or prop
- Sip — The Haunted Hill mansion causes any paranormal effect on a resident
- Sip — Shorty gets high from an unusual or impossible substance on screen
- Sip — Cindy is possessed or acts abnormally due to supernatural influence
- Sip — Hanson the butler pulls a move disturbing while pretending to be helpful
- Drink Twice — The parrot Poltergeist head-spin gag is extended beyond reason
- Drink Twice — The ghost girl Carolyn appears with her long black hair covering her face
- Drink Twice — The haunted bed attacks or levitates a character during the night
- Shot — Father McFeely's exorcism at the opening completely fails and escalates
- Shot — Brenda escapes the haunted painting and tears through the canvas
- Chug — The full fridge-fighting sequence between Cindy and the refrigerator plays out
Themed Cocktail
Hanson's Haunt
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz mezcal
- 0.75 oz hibiscus syrup
- 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.25 oz black cherry liqueur
- 2 oz sparkling water
- Pinch of black salt
Instructions:
- 1Rim a coupe glass with black salt.
- 2Combine mezcal, hibiscus syrup, lime juice, and black cherry liqueur in a shaker with ice.
- 3Shake for 10 seconds and strain into the prepared coupe.
- 4Top with sparkling water.
- 5Garnish with a dehydrated hibiscus flower on the rim — hauntingly good.
