- Sip — Jim McAllister's internal monologue reveals how personally he takes this election
- Sip — Paul Metzler nominates himself with cheerful complete lack of self-awareness
- Sip — Tammy Metzler gives a nihilist speech that gets a standing ovation
- Sip — Mr. McAllister looks at Tracy and lets his professional judgment completely fail
- Drink Twice — Jim's plan to sabotage the election gets more elaborate and self-destructive
- Drink Twice — Paul's sister Tammy appears and is immediately the most interesting candidate
- Drink Twice — Jim's neighbor Dave catches Jim in a compromising non-election situation
- Shot — Jim throws away the two ballots that would have changed the outcome
- Shot — Tracy discovers what Jim did and the career consequences begin their cascade
- Chug — Jim sees Tracy in Washington years later from the taxi and throws a soda at her car
Themed Cocktail
The Tracy Flick
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz tequila reposado
- 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz honey syrup
- 0.5 oz fresh grapefruit juice
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 2 oz sparkling water
Instructions:
- 1Combine tequila, lime juice, honey syrup, grapefruit juice, and bitters in a shaker with ice.
- 2Shake for 10 seconds.
- 3Strain into a rocks glass over ice.
- 4Top with sparkling water.
- 5Garnish with a grapefruit twist — organized, ambitious, and will absolutely win.
