The birth of Tony Stark's ego in an iron suit — drink to the arc reactor.
The Rules
- Sip — Tony Stark says 'JARVIS' and JARVIS responds with something dry or deadpan
- Sip — Tony works on the Iron Man suit in his Malibu workshop alone
- Sip — Pepper Potts rolls her eyes or sighs at Tony's behavior
- Sip — Obadiah Stane plays piano or pulls a move overtly fatherly toward Tony
- Sip — Rhodey looks at the prototype suits in the workshop and you can see him calculating
- Drink Twice — Tony Stark drinks scotch or whiskey at a public event while giving a speech
- Drink Twice — The arc reactor glows from inside Tony's chest in a dark scene
- Drink Twice — Yinsen speaks in his home dialect or references his family
- Shot — Tony escapes the cave in the Mark I suit with fire and explosions
- Shot — Obadiah Stane rips the arc reactor directly from Tony's chest
- Chug — 'I am Iron Man' — Tony unmasks at the press conference ending the film
Themed Cocktail
The Arc Reactor
Ingredients:
- 2 oz gin
- 0.75 oz blue butterfly pea flower syrup
- 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz elderflower liqueur
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- 1 oz tonic water (top)
Instructions:
- 1Combine gin, butterfly pea syrup, lime juice, elderflower liqueur, and orange bitters in a shaker with ice
- 2Shake for 12 seconds and strain into a highball glass over fresh ice
- 3Top with tonic water — the quinine will cause a faint glow effect under UV light
- 4Stir once gently
- 5Garnish with a blue butterfly pea flower floating on top
