The Rules
- Sip — Hades speaks at machine-gun rapid speed before catching himself and slowing down
- Sip — Pain and Panic transform into a new disguise and immediately blow their cover
- Sip — The Muses directly address the camera or step outside the story to comment on events
- Sip — Phil the satyr blows his conch whistle and delivers a motivational training speech
- Sip — Hercules accidentally destroys a building, statue, or city block he was trying to save
- Drink Twice — Hades discovers Hercules is still alive and his carefully timed plan collapses
- Drink Twice — Meg admits to Hades she has fallen in love with Hercules — she can't go back
- Drink Twice — Hercules fights the Hydra and each head cut produces three new heads
- Shot — Hercules dives into the River Styx to rescue Meg's soul from the dead
- Shot — Zeus transforms the Hercules constellation in the night sky in his honor
- Chug — Hercules chooses Meg over Olympus and gives up immortality to stay on Earth with her
Themed Cocktail
Phil's Zero-to-Hero
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz coconut rum
- 0.75 oz fresh blood orange juice
- 0.5 oz pomegranate syrup
- 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.75 oz hibiscus tea, chilled
- 0.25 oz honey syrup
Instructions:
- 1Combine coconut rum, blood orange juice, pomegranate syrup, lemon juice, chilled hibiscus tea, and honey syrup in a shaker with ice.
- 2Shake hard for 12 seconds — this drink requires Herculean effort.
- 3Strain into a tall glass over ice.
- 4Garnish with a skewer of three pomegranate seeds, a blood orange wheel, and a sprig of olive branch — the Greek trifecta.
- 5Serve in a gold or copper vessel if available — Zeus insists on it.
