The Rules
- Sip — Ford Brody walks stoically through rubble with zero visible emotion
- Sip — A military general references "the protocol" without specifying what it is
- Sip — The news broadcasts emergency alerts across multiple TV screens simultaneously
- Sip — A MUTO emits that low-frequency electromagnetic pulse and kills all the lights
- Sip — Godzilla's dorsal spines light up electric blue along his back
- Drink Twice — Ken Watanabe says "Let them fight" with absolute conviction
- Drink Twice — The camera pulls back to show Godzilla's true impossible scale for the first time
- Drink Twice — The nuclear warhead train sequence goes completely sideways in the tunnel
- Shot — Godzilla opens his jaws and fires the atomic breath down the female MUTO's throat
- Shot — Bryan Cranston's character Dr. Brody collapses and dies in the corridor
- Chug — Godzilla collapses on the San Francisco waterfront and the crowd thinks he's dead — then his eye opens
Themed Cocktail
The Atomic Breath
Ingredients:
- 2 oz aged dark rum
- 0.75 oz blue pea flower-infused simple syrup
- 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz ginger liqueur
- 2 oz sparkling water
- 1 tsp activated charcoal powder
Instructions:
- 1Stir activated charcoal powder into the simple syrup until fully dissolved and dark.
- 2Combine dark rum, infused syrup, lime juice, and ginger liqueur in a shaker with ice.
- 3Shake vigorously for 12 seconds, then strain into a tall highball glass over fresh ice.
- 4Top with sparkling water and stir once to combine.
- 5Garnish with a lime wheel and a skewer of black olives to mimic Godzilla's dorsal spines.
