The Rules
- Sip — Ash Williams laughs maniacally at himself in a mirror or window reflection
- Sip — Ash's possessed hand attacks him independently of the rest of his body
- Sip — a new character arrives at the cabin and immediately doubts Ash's story
- Sip — the camera does the zooming Evil Dead POV rush through the woods
- Sip — Ash says 'Groovy' with complete confidence in a terrible situation
- Drink Twice — Ash fights his own severed hand across the floor of the cabin
- Drink Twice — Annie Knowby translates new passages from her father's Necronomicon pages
- Drink Twice — a Deadite form of Linda, Ash's girlfriend, appears to taunt him
- Shot — Ash cuts off his own hand with a chainsaw and attaches the chainsaw in its place
- Shot — a portal opens and sucks Ash and the Oldsmobile back into the medieval past
- Chug — the severed hand gives Ash the middle finger from across the room before escaping
Themed Cocktail
Ash's Groovy Hand
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz mezcal
- 0.75 oz Aperol
- 0.75 oz fresh blood orange juice
- 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz agave syrup
- 1 tsp black salt (for rim)
Instructions:
- 1Rim a rocks glass with black salt using a lime wedge.
- 2Combine mezcal, Aperol, blood orange juice, lime juice, and agave syrup in a shaker with ice.
- 3Shake vigorously for 12 seconds and strain over a large ice cube into the prepared glass.
- 4Garnish with a blood orange half-wheel and a chainsaw-shaped cocktail pick if available.
