The Jakku Scavenger

Ingredients

• 2 oz mezcal
• 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
• 0.5 oz agave nectar
• 0.5 oz mango syrup
• 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
• 1 tsp desert sand salt (smoked salt for rim)

Instructions

1. 1Rim a rocks glass with smoked sea salt to represent Jakku's dust
2. 2Combine mezcal, lime juice, agave nectar, mango syrup, and bitters in a shaker with ice
3. 3Shake hard for 15 seconds
4. 4Strain over fresh ice in the prepared glass
5. 5Garnish with a mango wheel and a sprig of dried herbs to mimic the desert wasteland
