The Wheelsy Slug

Ingredients

• 2 oz dark rum
• 0.75 oz black cherry liqueur
• 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
• 0.5 oz simple syrup
• 3 dashes Peychaud's bitters
• 1 tsp activated charcoal (for color)

Instructions

1. 1Stir activated charcoal into simple syrup until dissolved to make charcoal syrup
2. 2Combine dark rum, black cherry liqueur, lime juice, and charcoal syrup in a shaker with ice
3. 3Add Peychaud's bitters and shake for 12 seconds
4. 4Strain into a chilled coupe glass
5. 5Garnish with a dark cherry submerged at the bottom of the glass to mimic the slug
