Ingredients

• 1.5 oz cognac
• 0.75 oz blood orange juice
• 0.5 oz honey syrup
• 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
• 3 dashes Angostura bitters
• 0.25 oz aged balsamic reduction

Instructions

1. 1Combine cognac, blood orange juice, honey syrup, lemon juice, and bitters in a shaker with ice.
2. 2Shake vigorously for 15 seconds and double-strain into a chilled rocks glass over a large ice cube.
3. 3Drizzle the balsamic reduction in a slow spiral over the surface without stirring.
4. 4Garnish with a blood orange half-wheel and a fresh thyme sprig pressed against the ice.
