The Tangiers Comp

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz cognac
• 0.5 oz Benedictine
• 0.5 oz blood orange juice
• 0.25 oz demerara syrup
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 tsp Amaro Averna
• Orange twist for garnish

Instructions

1. 1Combine cognac, Benedictine, blood orange juice, demerara syrup, bitters, and Amaro in a mixing glass with ice.
2. 2Stir for 30 seconds until well chilled.
3. 3Strain into a chilled rocks glass over a large ice cube.
4. 4Express an orange twist over the surface and rest it on the rim.
