The Rules
- Sip — Heathcliff broods at a window or on the moors
- Sip — Catherine Earnshaw's ghost appears or is mentioned
- Sip — Someone calls out 'Cathy!' across the moors
- Sip — Thrushcross Grange is shown in exterior shot
- Sip — The wind howls through Wuthering Heights manor
- Drink Twice — Heathcliff declares 'I cannot live without my life'
- Drink Twice — Characters climb to Penistone Crag
- Drink Twice — The old servant Nelly Dean begins narrating
- Shot — Catherine proclaims 'I am Heathcliff!'
- Shot — Heathcliff digs up Catherine's grave
- Chug — Catherine dies while Heathcliff pounds on the door
Themed Cocktail
The Yorkshire Moor
Ingredients:
- 2 oz aged Scottish whisky
- 0.75 oz sweet vermouth
- 0.5 oz heather honey syrup
- 0.25 oz allspice dram
- 2 dashes aromatic bitters
- 1 dash orange bitters
Instructions:
- 1Combine all ingredients in mixing glass
- 2Add ice and stir until well-chilled
- 3Strain into double rocks glass over large ice cube
- 4Express orange peel over drink and discard
