Somebody once told you this game would require drinking — and they were not wrong.

The Rules

  • Sip — Puss in Boots turns on his enormous kitten eyes to manipulate someone into compliance
  • Sip — Fairy Godmother sings a snippet of a pop song repurposed to serve her agenda
  • Sip — King Harold looks deeply uncomfortable being in the same room as Shrek
  • Sip — Queen Lillian defends Shrek against a comment her husband makes with pointed wife energy
  • Sip — The Fairy Godmother's potion factory assembly line is shown producing a labeled potion
  • Drink Twice — Human Shrek and Donkey as a white horse walk through Far Far Away together
  • Drink Twice — Puss in Boots vomits up a hairball at an extremely inopportune narrative moment
  • Drink Twice — The Magic Mirror broadcast covers the Shrek-Fiona royal arrival on live television
  • Shot — King Harold is revealed to be the Frog Prince — transformed by Fairy Godmother years ago

Themed Cocktail

Puss's Purr-fect Paloma

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz tequila reposado
  • 1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 oz agave syrup
  • 1.5 oz sparkling water
  • 0.25 oz hibiscus syrup

Instructions:

  1. 1Salt rim a rocks glass by rubbing a lime wedge around the edge and pressing into coarse salt.
  2. 2Combine tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and agave syrup in a shaker with ice.
  3. 3Shake for 10 seconds and strain over fresh ice into the salted glass.
  4. 4Top with sparkling water and stir gently once.
  5. 5Pour hibiscus syrup slowly over the top — a deep red bloom for Puss's dashing hat — and garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
