Scrooge's Wassail

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz aged rum
  • 4 oz hot spiced apple cider
  • 0.5 oz orange liqueur
  • 0.25 oz lemon juice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 whole cloves

Instructions:

  1. 1Heat spiced apple cider with cinnamon stick and cloves in a small saucepan — do not boil.
  2. 2Strain into a warmed mug.
  3. 3Add aged rum, orange liqueur, and lemon juice.
  4. 4Stir gently to combine.
  5. 5Garnish and serve immediately while hot.
