Themed Cocktail

The Triwizard Torch

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz mezcal
  • 1 oz fresh orange juice
  • 0.75 oz Ancho Reyes chile liqueur
  • 0.5 oz agave nectar
  • 0.25 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 pinch smoked paprika
  • 1 orange peel for garnish

Instructions:

  1. 1Rim half the glass with smoked paprika mixed with salt.
  2. 2Combine mezcal, orange juice, Ancho Reyes, agave, and lime in a shaker with ice.
  3. 3Shake firmly for 10 seconds.
  4. 4Strain into the prepared rocks glass over a large ice cube.
  5. 5Express the orange peel over the drink and rest it on the rim.
  6. 6Optionally torch the orange peel for a smoky flame presentation.
