The Durham Plié

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz Newcastle Brown Ale
  • 1 oz blackcurrant cordial (Ribena)
  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. 1Pour Newcastle Brown Ale into a pint glass slowly.
  2. 2Add blackcurrant cordial down the side of the glass.
  3. 3Squeeze in the lemon juice.
  4. 4Let the purple swirl settle at the bottom like a curtain call.
  5. 5Raise a glass to every kid who dared to be different.
