Ingredients

• 2 oz rye whiskey
• 0.5 oz honey syrup
• 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 tsp smoked simple syrup
• 1 lemon peel for garnish

Instructions

1. 1Combine rye, honey syrup, lemon juice, Angostura bitters, and smoked syrup in a mixing glass with ice.
2. 2Stir for 25 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.
3. 3Strain into a chilled old fashioned glass over a large ice sphere.
4. 4Flame a lemon peel over the surface, then rest it on the rim to garnish.
