The Golden Mile

Ingredients

• 10 oz pale ale (such as London Pride)
• 1 oz Scotch whisky
• 0.5 oz honey syrup
• 0.25 oz fresh lemon juice
• 2 dashes orange bitters

Instructions

1. 1Combine Scotch whisky, honey syrup, lemon juice, and orange bitters in the base of a chilled pint glass
2. 2Slowly pour pale ale down the side of the tilted glass to preserve the carbonation
3. 3Allow to settle for 20 seconds
4. 4Do not garnish — Gary would hate the fussiness
5. 5Serve at the exact temperature you'd expect in a slightly run-down English pub
