The Shire's End

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz aged rum
• 0.75 oz apple brandy
• 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
• 0.5 oz honey syrup
• 3 dashes Angostura bitters
• 0.25 oz elderflower liqueur

Instructions

1. 1Combine rum, apple brandy, lemon juice, honey syrup, and bitters in a shaker with ice.
2. 2Shake for 15 seconds and double-strain into a chilled coupe glass.
3. 3Float elderflower liqueur gently over the back of a spoon — the Shire is peaceful on top.
4. 4Garnish with a dehydrated apple slice and a small spray of dried lavender laid across the rim.
