The Pit Climber

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz mezcal
• 0.5 oz dark rum
• 0.75 oz blood orange juice
• 0.5 oz agave nectar
• 3 dashes Peychaud's bitters
• 0.25 oz hibiscus syrup

Instructions

1. 1Combine mezcal, dark rum, blood orange juice, agave nectar, and bitters in a shaker with ice.
2. 2Shake for 15 seconds and strain into a rocks glass over a large clear ice cube.
3. 3Drizzle hibiscus syrup slowly around the rim so it sinks slightly into the drink.
4. 4Garnish with a blood orange half-wheel and a pinch of smoked sea salt on the rim.
