Honey Sting

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz reposado tequila
• 1 oz fresh lemon juice
• 0.75 oz honey syrup (2:1 honey to water)
• 0.5 oz Cointreau
• 1 tsp hot sauce
• Pinch of salt

Instructions

1. 1Rim a rocks glass with honey and dip in a mixture of salt and chili powder
2. 2Combine tequila, lemon juice, honey syrup, Cointreau, hot sauce, and salt in a shaker with ice
3. 3Shake vigorously for 15 seconds until the honey is fully incorporated
4. 4Strain over fresh ice into the prepared rocks glass
5. 5Stir gently and taste — it should sting slightly on the finish
6. 6Garnish with a lemon wheel and a small drizzle of straight honey on top
