Ellison's Reel Whisky

Ingredients

• 2 oz mezcal
• 0.5 oz Averna amaro
• 0.25 oz demerara syrup
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 dash orange bitters
• 1 large ice cube (served over)

Instructions

1. 1Combine mezcal, Averna, demerara syrup, and both bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
2. 2Stir for 25 seconds until well diluted and chilled.
3. 3Strain over a single large ice cube in a rocks glass.
4. 4Express an orange peel over the surface and place it skin-side up on the ice.
