Ingredients

• 2 oz rye whiskey
• 0.75 oz sweet vermouth
• 0.5 oz cherry liqueur
• 2 dashes orange bitters
• 0.25 oz absinthe rinse

Instructions

1. 1Rinse a rocks glass with absinthe and discard excess.
2. 2Combine rye, sweet vermouth, cherry liqueur, and bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
3. 3Stir for 30 seconds until well chilled.
4. 4Strain into the prepared rocks glass over a large ice cube.
