Gerry's Irish Sour

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz Irish whiskey
• 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
• 0.5 oz honey syrup
• 0.5 oz elderflower liqueur
• 1 egg white
• 3 dashes Angostura bitters

Instructions

1. 1Dry shake Irish whiskey, lemon juice, honey syrup, elderflower liqueur, and egg white without ice
2. 2Add ice and shake hard again for 15 seconds until very cold and frothy
3. 3Double strain into a chilled coupe or Nick and Nora glass
4. 4Dash Angostura bitters onto the foam in a simple decorative pattern
5. 5The honey and elderflower give warmth and floral sweetness against the Irish whiskey
6. 6Garnish with a small shamrock stencil pattern in bitters on the foam
