The Trinity

Ingredients

• 2 oz mezcal
• 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
• 0.5 oz Ancho Reyes chile liqueur
• 0.5 oz honey syrup
• 1 dash Angostura bitters

Instructions

1. 1Add mezcal, lime juice, Ancho Reyes, honey syrup, and bitters to a shaker with ice.
2. 2Shake hard for 10 seconds until well chilled.
3. 3Strain into a rocks glass over a single large ice cube.
4. 4Flame an orange peel over the glass, squeeze the oils through the fire, and drop the charred peel on top.
