Captain's Grog

Ingredients

• 2 oz dark navy rum
• 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
• 0.5 oz demerara syrup
• 4 oz hot water
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 2 whole cloves

Instructions

1. 1Muddle cinnamon stick and cloves briefly in the bottom of your mug.
2. 2Add rum, lime juice, and demerara syrup.
3. 3Pour in hot water and stir well to combine.
4. 4Allow to steep for 2 minutes before drinking.
5. 5Remove cloves before serving.
