Ingredients

• 1.5 oz aged rum
• 0.5 oz Campari
• 0.5 oz sweet vermouth
• 0.25 oz blackberry liqueur
• 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
• 1 barspoon activated charcoal simple syrup

Instructions

1. 1Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice.
2. 2Stir for 30 seconds until thoroughly chilled.
3. 3Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice sphere.
4. 4Let the charcoal syrup bleed into the drink before serving.
5. 5Serve without garnish — let the darkness speak for itself.
