2 oz cognac VSOP
0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
0.5 oz Cherry Heering
0.5 oz simple syrup
2 dashes Angostura bitters

Instructions

1Add cognac, lemon juice, Cherry Heering, simple syrup, and bitters to a shaker with ice.
2Shake for 12 seconds until well chilled.
3Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
4Drop a brandied cherry to the bottom of the glass.
