The Ritual of Chüd

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz dark rum
• 0.5 oz overproof rum
• 0.75 oz hibiscus grenadine
• 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
• 0.5 oz Velvet Falernum
• 1 oz pineapple juice

Instructions

1. 1Combine dark rum, hibiscus grenadine, lime juice, falernum, and pineapple juice in a shaker with ice.
2. 2Shake hard for 12 seconds and strain into a tiki mug or large rocks glass over crushed ice.
3. 3Float the overproof rum over the back of a spoon on top.
4. 4Garnish with a pineapple leaf, a maraschino cherry, and a tiny paper boat toothpick flag.
