The Vault Opener

Ingredients

• 2 oz rye whiskey
• 0.5 oz Amaro Montenegro
• 0.25 oz maple syrup
• 3 dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 dash orange bitters
• 1 large ice cube

Instructions

1. 1Combine rye whiskey, Amaro Montenegro, and maple syrup in a mixing glass with ice.
2. 2Stir for 30 seconds until well chilled and diluted.
3. 3Strain over a single large ice cube in an old fashioned glass.
4. 4Add both bitters on top.
5. 5Express an orange peel over the glass and discard, then garnish.
