Ingredients

• 2 oz Japanese whisky
• 0.5 oz sake
• 0.25 oz simple syrup
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 large ice sphere

Instructions

1. 1Place a large ice sphere in an old-fashioned glass.
2. 2Combine Japanese whisky, sake, simple syrup, and bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
3. 3Stir for 30 seconds until properly chilled.
4. 4Strain over the ice sphere.
5. 5Rest quietly for a moment before drinking — like Hachi would.
