The Upper East Spritz

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz St-Germain elderflower liqueur
• 1 oz Champagne vinegar shrub (or fresh lemon juice)
• 0.5 oz raspberry syrup
• 3 oz Champagne or dry prosecco
• 1 oz sparkling water
• 1 fresh raspberry

Instructions

1. 1Combine elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, and raspberry syrup in a mixing glass with a single ice cube and stir.
2. 2Pour into a Champagne flute.
3. 3Top with prosecco and a splash of sparkling water — do not stir.
4. 4Drop a single fresh raspberry in and watch it sink.
5. 5Garnish with nothing else — excess is for people who weren't raised on the Upper East Side.
