Ingredients
- 2 oz cognac
- 0.75 oz Amaro Averna
- 0.5 oz blood orange juice
- 0.25 oz simple syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Orange peel for garnish
Instructions
- 1Combine cognac, Amaro Averna, blood orange juice, simple syrup, and bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
- 2Stir for 30 seconds until well chilled.
- 3Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- 4Express an orange peel over the surface and drop it in.
- 5Serve without ice. This is a classy joint.
