The Atomic Breath

Ingredients

• 2 oz aged dark rum
• 0.75 oz blue pea flower-infused simple syrup
• 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
• 0.5 oz ginger liqueur
• 2 oz sparkling water
• 1 tsp activated charcoal powder

Instructions

1. 1Stir activated charcoal powder into the simple syrup until fully dissolved and dark.
2. 2Combine dark rum, infused syrup, lime juice, and ginger liqueur in a shaker with ice.
3. 3Shake vigorously for 12 seconds, then strain into a tall highball glass over fresh ice.
4. 4Top with sparkling water and stir once to combine.
5. 5Garnish with a lime wheel and a skewer of black olives to mimic Godzilla's dorsal spines.
