Ingredients

• 1.5 oz rye whiskey
• 0.5 oz Carpano Antica vermouth
• 0.25 oz Fernet-Branca
• 1 tsp cherry syrup
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters

Instructions

1. 1Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice.
2. 2Stir slowly for 30 seconds until well integrated.
3. 3Strain into an old fashioned glass over a large ice cube.
4. 4Do not garnish the drink itself; allow the color to speak.
5. 5Garnish and serve.
