Rio Vault Smash

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz silver tequila
• 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
• 0.5 oz Cointreau
• 0.5 oz passion fruit syrup
• 3 dashes hot sauce
• 1 oz sparkling water

Instructions

1. 1Muddle a slice of jalapeño in the bottom of a shaker, then add tequila, lime juice, Cointreau, passion fruit syrup, and hot sauce.
2. 2Add ice and shake hard for 15 seconds; double-strain into a highball glass over fresh ice.
3. 3Top with sparkling water and stir once.
4. 4Garnish with a lime wedge, a jalapeño slice on the rim, and a pinch of tajín on the ice.
