Mia's Cold Turkey

Ingredients

• 2 oz mezcal
• 0.5 oz Fernet-Branca
• 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
• 0.5 oz demerara syrup
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 tsp black salt (for rim)

Instructions

1. 1Rim a rocks glass with black salt using a lemon wedge.
2. 2Combine mezcal, Fernet-Branca, lemon juice, demerara syrup, and bitters in a shaker with ice.
3. 3Shake for 12 seconds and strain over a large ice cube into the prepared glass.
4. 4Garnish with a dehydrated lemon wheel rested on the rim — no other flourish.
