Road Trip Rye Sour

Ingredients

• 2 oz rye whiskey
• 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
• 0.5 oz honey syrup
• 1 egg white
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters

Instructions

1. 1Combine rye whiskey, lemon juice, honey syrup, and egg white in a shaker without ice.
2. 2Dry shake vigorously for 15 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
3. 3Add ice and shake again for 10 seconds until well chilled.
4. 4Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube.
5. 5Dot bitters on the foam and drag a toothpick through to create a pattern.
