Lara's Theme in Winter

Ingredients

• 2 oz dry red wine
• 1 oz ruby port
• 0.5 oz fresh orange juice
• 0.25 oz simple syrup
• 1 cinnamon stick (for steeping)
• 2 cloves

Instructions

1. 1Warm red wine and port gently in a small saucepan over low heat with cinnamon and cloves.
2. 2Do not boil — steep for five minutes.
3. 3Add orange juice and simple syrup and stir.
4. 4Strain into a stemmed wine glass and serve warm.
