Ingredients

2 oz rye whiskey
0.75 oz Averna amaro
0.5 oz sweet vermouth
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 dash black walnut bitters

Instructions

1Combine rye, Averna, sweet vermouth, and both bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
2Stir for 25 seconds.
3Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
4Serve strong and dark.
