Ingredients

• 2 oz rye whiskey
• 0.5 oz Averna amaro
• 0.5 oz sweet vermouth
• 2 dashes black walnut bitters
• 1 barspoon maple syrup

Instructions

1. 1Combine rye, Averna, sweet vermouth, maple syrup, and bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
2. 2Stir for 25 seconds until well chilled.
3. 3Strain into a rocks glass over a single large ice cube.
4. 4Let it rest a moment before sipping.
