Heisenberg Blue

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz mezcal
• 0.75 oz dry curaçao substitute — use butterfly pea flower syrup instead
• 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
• 0.5 oz agave syrup
• 1 tsp black salt
• Smoked black salt rim

Instructions

1. 1Rim a rocks glass with lime juice and smoked black salt — the chemistry must be precise
2. 2Combine mezcal, butterfly pea flower syrup, lime juice, and agave syrup in a shaker with ice
3. 3Shake vigorously for 15 seconds
4. 4Strain into the prepared glass over a large ice cube
5. 5The butterfly pea flower will give it the electric blue of Heisenberg's product
6. 6Garnish with a lime wheel dusted with smoked salt and a blue cocktail pick
